St Mary's Belstone

Belstone, 29th May, 2004. Tower captain Michael Ash, together with his ringers, Mark and Sarah Blacksell, Alan Biggs, Jane Lehni and Wallace Mitchell rang a number of call change peals, while Andy Stevens led a party of about twenty walkers onto the moor on a beautifully clear May afternoon. The music of the bells drifted over the gorse and mingled with the song of the skylarks, fading as the wind changed course or dying as the ringers stood their bells for a rest. (Taken from the Dartmoor Changes booklet)
