Belstone and Area Friends of The Children's Hospice South West
The Belstone and Area Friends' Group would like to thank everyone who has supported our fundraising through the last year. Thanks to your support at all our functions organised in Belstone, plus the agricultural shows, Westpoint events, etc., we have raised around £7,600. This takes our total, since our formation four years ago, to well over £45,000.

An Evening of Jazz in the Garden
. . . hosted by the Friends’ Group on Saturday 26th May, in the garden of St Anthony’s Close, Skaigh Lane, Belstone (courtesy of Haldon Hole). Bring your own picnic and listen to music from the New Stannary Jazzmen – an established traditional Jazz Band whose music ranges from interpretations of New Orleans and Dixieland to popular pieces in the Jazz idiom.
So join the “Friends” in this beautiful setting for what promises to be a most enjoyable evening. Doors open at 6.30pm to allow picnics to begin and the music begins at 7.30pm. Hot drinks on sale during the interval and undercover space provided in case of inclement weather! Car parking in nearby field – well signed. Tickets £10 from Angela on 01837 840234 – all profits to The Children’s Hospice South West.

Snowdrop Sunday - 26th February - Andrew's Corner, Skaigh Lane, Belstone
What a wonderful ‘curtain raiser’ to the Garden Open season Snowdrop Sunday turned out to be! Held on what emerged as a glorious winter day, it raised over £750 for the Children’s Hospice South West and, on behalf of the Belstone Friends’ Group, we would like to say a very big “Thank you” to all who supported it.
