I am a keen rambler and outdoor photographer living in West Devon (UK).
When I'm not working from home, as a web developer and technical consultant, I relish the opportunity to escape into the surrounding countryside with my camera. With the northern flank of Dartmoor National Park just minutes from my front door, I can often be found walking the East Okement Valley to Belstone, Belstone Cleave to Sticklepath and/or the adjacent northern moor.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, especially when coupled with my love of the West Country. It provides a very welcome opportunity for both fresh air and quiet contemplation, away from the office and everyday distractions. Looking through the lens forces me to look at everything with a fresh pair of eyes, to re-evaluate the world before me. It's like being a child all over again - but with much more expensive toys!
