On Friday 27th January 2012 frogspawn was found in a garden pond in Belstone. Is this the earliest ever for Belstone?

Welcome to the Cuckoo! (2011)

In 2011 the cuckoo was first heard in Belstone on 10th April. The earliest date by three days that Chris Walpole has heard it, in 30 years of his records. The late Mark Blacksell, however, did see one one in Taw Marsh on 28th March 1998.
