About www.BelstoneVillage.net Our Origins The idea for this website evolved out of the Belstone Green Village Project which began in 2006 in partnership with Westden and Plymouth University. While the Green Village Committeee is no longer active, the concept is still alive and well and one of its legacies is this community website. The site aims to present up-to-date information and records of village activities, local amenities, goods and services. It also provides a platform for local organisations and businesses to publicise their events and facilities. Our thanks go to Oz Osborne, Olya Maiboroda and Colin Trier who worked with us to promote and further the project. Particular thanks also go to Geoff Hodgkinson (co-editor of the Hatherleigh website) who set up this website and who still gives up his time to patiently talk us through the hiccups and glitches that are encountered when editing a website.
