October 4, 2009: One of the most interesting aspects of being editors of this site is that we sometimes receive correspondence from people who have lived in or visited Belstone and would either like to share happy memories of the village or ask about the welfare of families they knew in the village. One such person is Christopher van den Arend who lived here for some years, as a child, during the war.
